6:30 – 8:00 am
Course Organizers:
Cynthia Levy, MD   Anne M. Larson, MD   Kyong-Mi Chang, MD

This workshop focuses on successful career development strategies for women in academic hepatology, examining women’s professional needs (along with the existing challenges and barriers), discussing strategies to improve work-life balance, and to foster networking and mentoring opportunities. By directly addressing these issues in a workshop with dynamic panel discussions, we hope to attract more women to the field and to further guide those who are already pursuing a career in academic hepatology.

Goals and Objectives:

  • Examine women’s professional needs.
  • Discuss strategies to improve work-life balance.
