Advances for Practitioners

This session will focus on recent publications which impact the practice of Hepatobiliary Diseases with an emphasis on proper diagnosis and therapy of some of the common liver diseases. The lessons learned from the study, the clinical context and its limitations will be discussed.  The audience will leave the session with questions such as: “Should I incorporate this information into my practice and, if so, when?”

Goals and Objectives:

• Review recently published manuscripts in clinical hepatology which impact our practice
• Place the lessons learned from these studies into context
• Define how this information may immediately impact our clinical practice
