CORPORATE SUPPORT OPPORTUNITIES

Corporate recognition of your further commitment to the study and practice of hepatology will consist of:

• Online recognition in The Liver Meeting® section of AASLD’s website
• Recognition in the meeting’s final program
• Recognition on highly visible signage placed throughout the meeting’s facilities
• A sign recognizing your corporate support for display in your booth
• Badge ribbons recognizing your corporate support for your personnel attending the meeting to wear
• Invitation(s) to the Member’s Reception (number dependent upon level of support)
• Use of the AASLD Annual Meeting pre-registration list, with pre-approved mailing piece for one-time mailing prior to the meeting
• Right of first refusal to continue your support of the same product, event, or service in 2011*

*Please note that Corporate Supporters of the 2009 meeting are given the right of first refusal until April 2, 2010, at which time support opportunities are open on a first-come, first-served basis.  Recognition in the registration brochure as specified is limited to support reservations received by June.

Products and Services

Abstracts on CD-ROM and online Archive - $65,000 (sponsored in 2009)
Distributed in the registration bags for all attendees, this sought-after and valuable reference tool contains the abstracts presented (both oral and posters) at The Liver Meeting®.  Your company name and logo appears on the jewel case insert, on each CD, and on the opening screen.

Audiovisual Support - $15,000 - $20,000/day
Every session at The Liver Meeting® uses audiovisual service, projecting images on screen(s) at the front of the room. Additional recognition includes your company logo on the opening slide of every screen in every meeting room, putting your name in front of The Liver Meeting® attendees numerous times throughout the day.

  Sunday (sponsored in 2009)/Monday - $20,000 each day
  Tuesday - $15,000

Bag inserts
Include a printed insert in the registration bags distributed to all attendees.  AASLD must approve the design before distribution.  Limited number available; contact AASLD for more information.

  • 5x7 postcard - $2,500 
  • 6x9 postcard - $3,500
  • Full page (8.5x11) - $5,000

Coffee breaks
Provide attendees with a refreshing break as they peruse the exhibits, seminars or poster sessions. Beverage stations will be strategically placed for attendees' convenience.  Coffee breaks are provided on Sunday and Monday morning on the show floor in the Exhibit Hall; a coffee break for the Postgraduate Course is provided Saturday morning.  Optionally, at your company’s expense, you may provide cups and napkins with your company name and logo only.   AASLD must approve the design before distribution.

  Sunday/Monday:  $7,500 each (exhibit hall floor)
  Saturday (during Postgraduate Course): $10,000 (outside of Postgraduate Course)
  All 3 coffee breaks:  $20,000

Final Program - $70,000 (sponsored in 2009)
Referred to again and again throughout the meeting, this compact program book provides comprehensive listings for all The Liver Meeting® activities, pullout maps and other information to help attendees make the most of their participation.  This indispensable guide is made available onsite to all attendees.  Additional recognition includes exclusive inside-front, inside-back and back cover corporate advertisements.

Internet Center - $25,000 (sponsored for 2009)
Consists of at least a dozen, always-busy Internet accessible computers.  This service, allowing attendees to access home and office email will be available each day during registration hours. Additional recognition includes signage in the Internet Center, as well as your company logo, booth number, and link to your website on the screen saver for each monitor.

Meeting Planner Notebook - $30,000 (sponsored in 2009)
Distributed in each attendee’s registration bag, this handy 6-inch x 9-inch spiral-bound notebook includes a meeting-at-a-glance schedule and pages for notes.  Additional recognition includes inside-front, inside-back and back cover corporate advertisements.

Online Itinerary Planner and Abstract Viewer - $25,000 (sponsored in 2009)
Consists of all abstracts and a meeting planner for organizing personalized itineraries.  Available to all attendees and accessible before the meeting on the AASLD website, as well as during the meeting in the Internet Center.  Additional recognition includes your company logo on the program’s opening screen.

Opening reception - $25,000 – Exclusive
The Opening Reception is two and a half hour reception held on Saturday evening to officially open The Liver Meeting®. Attendees can enjoy beverages and light snacks while perusing the exhibit hall and scientific posters in the adjacent hall.  Standard recognition plus company logo and booth number on signs near beverage stations. Optionally, at your company’s expense, you may provide cups and napkins with your company name and logo only.   AASLD must approve artwork before distribution.

Practice Guidelines PDA Downloading Station
AASLD's highly respected and frequently referenced practice guidelines will be available to The Liver Meeting® attendees for downloading in either PDA format or to a USB drive.  The downloading station will be placed in AASLD's booth strategically located near the Exhibit Hall.  Support recognition will continue for a year on AASLD’s website and in materials promoting AASLD’s practice guidelines.

Snack Breaks
Provide attendees with a snack as they peruse the exhibits or poster sessions. Snack stations will be strategically placed in the Exhibit Hall for attendees' convenience.  Snack breaks are provided on Sunday and Monday afternoon on the show floor in the Exhibit Hall.  Optionally, at your company’s expense, you may provide cups and napkins with your company name and logo only.   AASLD must approve the design before distribution.

    Sunday or Monday:  $7,500 each
    Both days: $12,500


Educational Programs

AASLD/International Liver Transplantation Society (ITLS) Transplant Course (sponsored in 2009)
Full day course will cover the long-term issues and consequences of liver transplantation.               About 1,000 – 1,200 attendees.

AASLD/North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) Pediatric Course - $10,000
This half-day course for pediatric hepatologists offers cutting edge treatment options for the care of pediatric patients with liver diseases.  About 150-250 attendees.

 

AASLD follows the PhRMA guidelines - as a result, the support opportunities below are only available to non-pharmaceutical supporters.

Flag Highlighter Pen - $15,000
Imprinted with your corporate logo and distributed in each registration bag, attendees will use this convenient combination to highlight abstracts or sessions of interest in the final program, and use the handy flags in the barrel of the highlighter to easily find and later reference those pages.

Hotel Key Cards – $50,000
The vast majority of attendees stay in the official AASLD hotels. Your presence is guaranteed to be in most attendees' hands at least once each day as they enter their hotel rooms.  AASLD must approve design before distribution.

Lanyards - $15,000
All attendees will be wearing your logo when you sponsor the lanyards.  In addition to the standard recognition, the lanyards may include your company logo/slogan.  AASLD must approve the design before distribution.

Pocket Map of Boston - $15,000
A very detailed and easy to use laminated map of Boston, provided to all attendees in meeting registration bags to enhance their stay in the city.  Additional recognition includes your company logo and booth number imprinted on each map. 

Registration Bags - $40,000
Handed to registered participants, the official meeting registration bag is carried throughout the meeting and for years following.  No other bags can be distributed at The Liver Meeting®.  Bag size, style, design, and color(s) are mutually agreed upon by the corporate supporter and AASLD.  Shipping requirements and deadlines must be met.
