The International Association for the Study of the Liver (IASL) will hold its 50th Anniversary meeting in conjunction with The Liver Meeting® 2008. IASL is a nonprofit organization whose aim is to foster and facilitate, in an international context, the development of knowledge towards the prevention, recognition, and treatment of liver and biliary tract diseases and to facilitate the training of experts in hepatology.
Excellent courses and the annual Postgraduate Course complement The Liver Meeting®. The complete program will be available early August 2008.
The Liver Meeting® delivers high-quality, continuing medical education to meet the following goals and objectives:
- Provide a forum for the exchange of groundbreaking basic and clinical research in liver disease.
- Create an arena for the presentation and interchange of opinions on state-of-the-art care and management of the full spectrum of patients with liver diseases.
