Description:
This one-day symposium consists of didactic lectures and case presentations aimed at the practicing hepatologist intending to take the Transplant Hepatology Certification examination in Transplant Hepatology. This course will assist attendees who are planning to take the American Board of Internal Medicine’s Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) examination in November 2010, as well as those managing patients before and after liver transplantation. 

Goals and Objectives:

  • Optimize the condition of patients on the waiting list with the potential for improved post transplant outcomes.
  • Improve physician performance and competence in the care of this patient population.
