Research, advancing human health, and developing the next generation of hepatologists, liver transplant surgeons, and allied health professionals are among AASLD's highest priorities.  At a time when the need for hepatology professionals is increasing and funding is diminishing, AASLD is committed to supporting the research and career development that will lead to better treatments for patients with liver disease.
